2018 Bee School Registration

Information:
Bee School covers various topics such as Bee Biology, equipment, pest management, hive management, safety and troubleshooting your hive.  While we have many children who are beekeepers and work closely with their parents, we have found that for younger children bee school can be a bit shall we say "dry".  Parents should consider this when registering for classes.

Bee School takes place at the South congregational Church, 27 Pleasant St., Concord NH, Please use the side door and go up the stairs.

The sessions of bee school are not consecutive so please keep an eye on the dates.  Interspersed with bee school are club meetings and there is no class on Good Friday as the church is unavailable.  We highly recommend that you attend club meetings as it will give you the opportunity to meet experienced beekeepers and learn beyond the classroom.   Each bee school session and club meeting runs from 7 - 9 pm.

The funds collected through bee school support the educational mission of the cub for the coming year.  Bee school is often wait listed.  The best way to insure yourself a spot is to utilize the online registration system.  However keep in mind that the online system requires payment through paypal.

Online registrations must include payment through paypal or they will be cancelled.  If you do not have a paypal account and wish to pay your registration using a check please download the bee school registration form and mail the form and payment to the address located on the form.   However the best way to insure a spot is to utilize the online system.

Individual registration includes one person and an individual membership to the club.

Family registration includes 2 people in the same household and a family membership to the club.  Additional family members (same household) may attend for an additional fee of $10 per person.

The text we recommend is Beekeeping for Dummies, it really is a good book and is readily available from Amazon and other sellers.  You may also order the text when you register for bee school and it will be available the first night of class.

We look forward to seeing you.
