2020 Bee School Registration

Information:
Bee School covers various topics such as Bee Biology, equipment, pest management, hive management, safety and troubleshooting your hive.  While we have many children who are beekeepers and work closely with their parents, we have found that for younger children bee school can be a bit shall we say "dry".  Parents should consider this when registering for classes.

Bee School takes place at the South congregational Church, 27 Pleasant St., Concord NH, Please use the side door and go up the stairs.

The sessions of bee school are not consecutive so please keep an eye on the dates.  Interspersed with bee school are club meetings and there is no class on Good Friday as the church is unavailable.

We highly recommend that you join the club and attend club meetings as it will give you the opportunity to meet experienced beekeepers and learn beyond the classroom.   With beekeeping there is much to learn, bee school is an important first step but we consider club meetings to be an important part of your education.

The funds collected through bee school support the educational mission of the cub for the coming year.  Bee school is often wait listed.  The best way to insure yourself a spot is to utilize the online registration system.  Online registrations must include payment  at the time of registration or the registration will be cancelled.

We do not recommend bee school for children under the age of 14 and each participant will need to register individually.

The text is included in the cost of bee school and we strongly recommend that you join the club.  With club membership you will have access to mentors as well as the private CABA facebook group where you will be able to ask questions and get answers from experienced beekeepers.

We look forward to seeing you.
